All members are reminded that when paying for rallies etc. cheques MUST be made out to ‘Caravan Club West Surrey Centre’. We will NOT accept cheques made out to a named person.  

Our AGM is fast approaching (Sat 5th October).  Any Motions MUST be with me before Saturday 31st August and any Nominations MUST be by Saturday 21st September.

This Rally is CANCELLED due to landowner double booking site

4th Sept to 9th Sept - Frogham.

 A superb location on the edge of the New Forest, next to a pub serving food. Rally Officers - Alf & Mo Harvey

12th Sept to 15th Sept. Holybourne 

This Rally is CANCELLED due to lack of support

5th October - AGM.  

All members are welcome

10th Oct to 15th Oct. Gosport. 

Hook up and on-site entertainment included. Bar, close to sea etc. Rally Officers Doreen and Pete Bowers

Regarding the funeral of ‘Bet’ Steele on 24th June reported in Update 197. The Post Code for Redan Chapel is GU12 4RW, NOT GU12 4RU. The family would like attendees to wear bright clothes.

 Update – No. 197   11th June 2024

Following the recent passing of long time member Elizabeth ‘Bet’ Steele, 

I have been advised by her family that her funeral will be at 1pm on 24th June at Redan Chapel, Redan Cemetery, Redan Road Aldershot GU12 4RU. Followed by a reception at the Aldershot Cricket Club, Guildford Road, Aldershot GU12 4BP. 

Following the funeral of John Godfrey, Carol would like to thank all who donated to the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice in his memory. 

In excess of £500 has been raised 

Your Committee is currently trying to plan our 2025 Rally Program, but we do need volunteers to be Rally Officers so that we can create a fuller program. If you feel that you could do it, have a chat with any of our  Rally Officers or a Committee Member.
