 Update – No. 228   11th December 2025
 
On behalf of our Chairman and Committee may I wish all of our members, families and friends a Happy Christmas and New Year. We look forward to seeing everyone on the Rally field in 2026
 
Following an unpleasant experience during the selling of a member’s motorhome, you are warned that, if selling privately, if 2 of more people come together to view, always ensure that BOTH/ALL are accompanied at ALL Times.
 (It only takes a second for one to deposit water/cause damage, etc. so as to claim a leak/fault, to try to get a price reduction)
 
The Club has now begun assembling the campsite crews for next year’s 2026 Club-Fest at Kelmarsh Hall.
If you would be interested in joining the crew from Wednesday 20th May to Wednesday 27th May.
(This includes a thank-you event on Tuesday evening. As a crew member, there is also a 45% discount available, £225 for a pitch with 2 adults, £165 for a pitch with 1 adult). Please email me/reply to this email, if you want further details.
 
Our new 2026 Rally book was posted (2nd Class) on 27th November to all West Surrey Lead and Life Members. If your’s does not arrive please get in contact with me.

It is with regret that I inform you of the passing of Pat Bessie’s partner Jack Bates on the 22nd November aged 97 a past member who enjoyed caravanning.

It is not too late to volunteer to run or assist at a rally in 2026. Have a chat to a committee member. Running a rally is easier than you might think
